On May 26 the County of San Diego confirmed that the reopening of swimming pools is NOT
authorized under their current guidelines and the County health order which is effective as of May 27, 2020. Therefore the pools will remain closed until further notice.

Racquetball - Open for members of same household only
Table Tennis - Open with restrictions

Reopening will be done in full compliance with published government guidelines. The first stage will be for tennis, pickleball and basketball only and reservations are required and can be made by clicking the "Reservations" tab which is the top left tab above. There will be detailed guidelines for each activity to ensure compliance with government guidelines. To see when other activities are scheduled to open and the detailed guidelines for each area click on the "COVID REOPENING" tab above. Anyone needing assistance making reservations or with questions can call the Club's reservation number at (858) 798-4064. Many Club activities remain closed due to the government stay at home order. The Club will continue to monitor these and open additional areas in compliance with government guidance. The Fitness Center, Teen Room, Tot Room, Playground, locker rooms and showers plus all classes are still closed and there is not yet a date for reopening. We will update all areas as they progress.

The Rancho Bernardo Swim and Tennis Club is a beautiful oasis located in the northern most part of the City of San Diego in the community of Rancho Bernardo. The Club provides excellent recreational and social opportunities for its members.
Originally incorporated in the 1960s, the Club currently serves over 3,000 member families and more than 50 associate members and guests.
Regular Club events for members include movie night, Oktoberfest, Casino night, and summer pool parties. A built-in barbeque area provides for entertainment opportunities for members and we have facilities for private functions for accommodating up to 230 people. Many community organizations make use of our facilities including Little League baseball, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Home Owners Associations that serve our members. We are a smoke free facility.
Membership of the Club is required for all property owners within a specified geographical area of Rancho Bernardo. Owners may elect a level of membership based on their club usage. Class A members have unlimited use. Class B members are limited to six uses per household per year and may upgrade to Class A at any time. Associate members must be residents of the Rancho Bernardo community. Associate members do not have voting privileges. The roster of names and addresses of members is maintained at the Club’s offices at 16955 Bernardo Oaks Drive, San Diego, California.
A Board of Directors oversees the Club and there is an Architectural Committee that administers Covenants, Codes and Restrictions (CC&Rs) for over 1,600 homes.
