Carolyn is one of you. She will guide, inspire and motivate you every step of the way. Those new to exercise class are more than welcome.
Senior Exercise classes focus on exercises that are necessary to retain the continuance of an independent lifestyle. These exercises help to prevent falls and improve one’s balance and help you maintain proper body alignment and posture.
The first 45 minutes of the class focuses on the 5 skill related fitness components: agility, balance and coordination, flexibility, power and speed. The last 15 minutes will be devoted to cardio and coordination through the basics of Line Dancing, which also are helpful in preventing falls.
All classes contain some chair work and standing. There will be no floor work.
