The RB Woodcrafters Club is open to all members of the RB Swim & Tennis Club provided they meet certain criteria focused on demonstrating previous woodworking experience and a proficiency in using the equipment in a safe manner. Potential members must be at least 16 years of age, pass a verbal interview and a practical demonstration on selected equipment to ensure he/she meets the minimum woodworking experience where safety will not be compromised, pass a written safety exam, and pay an annual dues amount to cover the cost of consumables that are available in the shop to all members (e.g. glue, nails, screws, nuts & bolts, & sandpaper). Club membership can also garner discounts at some specialty wood supply stores in the San Diego area.
